Endeavor Group, Management Update
It has come to our attention that there have been persistent rumours in the market over the last few weeks, mainly spread by our competitors, as well as listings of our ships in a number of “Ships for Sale” sites & circulars, that the Group’s ropaxes, managed by Endeavor Lines, are for sale and that we are planning to withdraw completely from this sector.
We would like to assure you that not only are these rumours completely unfounded but, on the contrary, our group is working towards strengthening our presence on the Brindisi to Greece route, by preparing “Princess T” to join the other two ships within 2011.
Furthermore, despite the general economic situation, the results of our ropax operation in 2010 have shown a small increase compared to the previous year. This tendency has been maintained in the first quarter of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010.
We realize that our collaborators and clients need to be kept advised of the group’s progress by us, especially during this period of economic gloom and uncertainty, instead of being informed through baseless and malicious rumours.
You have our assurance that we are here to stay and that we will always endeavor to provide you with the reliable and high standard services you have become accustomed to, even though we may not be, nor wish to become, one of the biggest players on the Italy – Greece market.
